TikTok Begins a Resume and Career Services site

In early 2021, the hashtag #careeradvice gained popularity across the mobile video-sharing app TikTok. Creators far and wide began to offer their workforce tips and experiences to young users looking for employment, which soon prompted the company to take the next steps to further expedite this trend.

Last week, Forbes reported that TikTok has launched a video resume site to their platform to allow users to build a profile of creative content for interested employees and recruiters.

Users with skills in video editing, photography, advertising and more can compose a line up of 15-second clips showcasing their abilities in order to find employment in their field.

As TikTok is widely known for its brand promotion through sponsorships, this resume service will allow these top brand owners to effectively seek out the right influencer to promote their brand image, but it doesn't end there.

What better way is their to connect people then through a popular media platform accessed by millions of users every day? Job seekers and recruiters can use the app to find work in marketing, advertising, design, editing, and so much more.

Although this service is still in the testing phases, the future of job applications and hiring are looking very bright and promises a whole new level of engagement opportunities and creative output.
